carolina mexicanum?

I had mexicanum as a subspecies of this.

That is possibly correct?
As far as I know T. carolina is the only species in the genus that occurs in New Mexico or Arizona, but as for subspecies, I'm not sure where the divisions between them are supposed to be. Any subspecies for this one aren't listed here on BugGuide yet. I would need to look it up and don't have proper resources handy at the moment. A quick check on-line shows repeated listings of the name mexicana as a synonym of T. carolina ssp. carolina. Perhaps somebody else will chime in before I get a chance to double-check.
