There are quite a few Pterophorid caterpillars in the guide
here
. Can you help ID any of them? Several are ones we have photographed on Eupatorium purpureum.

Pterophorid caterpillars
Hi - When it comes to these I'm as helpless as anyone else. We need a Pterophoridist out there. That I was able to ID for the one I placed images was truly a proverbial blind squirrel/acorn story. You have to find them, hope you can raise them, and then hope for the best when the adult emerges that you can identify even that. And take good images of all stages along the way, note food plants, etc., I'm sure you're familiar with that whole schtick. At this point I have another possible species pending if it emerges, but it's one victory at a time with these for me.
