Size

Ferguson (1988) listed the forewing length of holotype ♀ 12 mm., and other females 13 mm. (1)

Allotype ♂ forewing length 11 mm. and other males 10.5-12 mm. (1)

Range

South Carolina to Florida and Louisiana. (3), (1)

Brou (2005) stated "In Louisiana, perblanda has been taken in only two southeastern parishes (Fig.3)."

First Texas record (Ed Knudson, Texas Lepidoptera Survey). (4)

Habitat

Most adults collected in areas of Taxodium distichum (bald cypress). (1)

Season

Ferguson (1988) reported the adults were collected mainly in April with a few late March and late May records. (1)

Brou (2005) stated "In Louisiana, perblanda is single brooded, flight peaking the first week of April."

Life Cycle

Ferguson (1988) reported the immature stages unknown. (1)
