The humeral spot is not apparent in this vertically dorsal image...and in many other similar images in BugGuide. So perhaps the sencondary character in couplet 4 of the key in PK&K(1) could be improved by restating it as:

  4a) ...; maculations in strict dorsal view consisting of a series of four nearly equally separated dots.

Note: This is a different mating pair from the others in this series, but they're all from the same population, and the discussion under the 1st post in this series applies to all...so I'm keeping them linked for now.
