This is Panorpa insolens base
This is Panorpa insolens based on the wing markings and locality. This insect would have previously been referred to as Panorpa helena,now deemed an eastern species. Note this is not the same insect referred to as Panorpa insolens since 1973 from the Bluegrass region of Kentucky.
