Most Common southern AZ tiger beetle? - Cicindelidia sedecimpunctata

Most Common southern AZ tiger beetle? - Cicindelidia sedecimpunctata
Molino Basin Campground, off Catalina Hwy, just above Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, USA
July 21, 2013
This was the most widespread tiger beetle we encountered during about 8 days of exploring southern Arizona. We first saw it here in the Santa Catalina Mountains, and later at two locales in the Chiricahua Mountains, and a bit beyond in far eastern New Mexico, as well as at Pena Blanca Lake west of Nogales, and elsewhere.
