It is so small that it is difficult to photograph- and the fact that it didn't want to sit still didn't help. I still have it for now so if there are any specific areas that need to be photographed, I can try and get more pics, but I don't know what the results may be.

 
it's more about resolution & light than 'specific areas'
crisp straight dorsal & ventral images usually do the trick but the resolution required might be unattainable with your equipment, given the size of the model :/
here's what the ideal image set looks like:

the closer you can get to this ideal, the higher the odds for a confident ID; please keep trying, some BG contributors produce great pics using rather 'rudimentary' hardware; good lighting is critical to reveal the surface texture (punctation, striation, etc.)
unfortunately, i know squat about photography and can only assess the results

Yeah, I can't get a picture like that with what I've got. I'll just keep doing the best I can! One day maybe I can get a good macro lens..
