Unidentified Galls

Please record the oak species whenever possible. I believe this gall is only known from red oak; there may be a gall like this that I'm not familiar with on another oak species.

Charley, I appreciate the info. You may remember that I'm really not good with tree Ids. I was doing well to recognize that it was oak. I also know that we do have red oak in our small park.
