Definitely (teneral) Physocephala
In this image one can see the pale-reddish intimation of the "T"-shaped marking on the frons, bifariously branched at the base of the antennae and continuing down a ways along the outer edges of the antennal groove. Presumably that reddish marking would later cure to a dark brown or black, as would most the body in the Physocephala species found in the northeast (i.e. tibialis, furcillata, marginata and sagittaria). This must have eclosed shortly before you found it.

The expected species seems to be tibialis
