Eucteniza relata - male

Eucteniza relata - Male
Beeville, Bee County, Texas, USA
November 26, 2011
Found in the backyard, in the evening, late. It came on the sidewalk, in the lighted area.
Maybe searching for a warmer place around the house or for a mate (I read about this habit).
My impression is that they are not rare, just rarely seen. (The same evening came two on sidewalk. Sidewalk was flush with the lawn.) But I could be wrong about this. I noticed them only in that place in Beeville.
Occur late fall, early winter. (In Beeville winter is mild with few frosts and which usually do not take more than a day.)
I think it is the same species with Basically I found them in the same place. Just that are two years difference between them.
