Size: ~ 6 mm
Found in a dead Eucalyptus tree on a cool December morning.
It was not particularly interested in moving, not to mention flying, and very good at holding onto various substrates.
Is this a tenebrionid in genus Helops ?
It appears to be close to H. californicus, but doesn't match completely.
