Orthoptera Species File Online lists 7 species in the genus; one from North America
Identification
Gryllotalpa spp. can be easily distinguished from Neocurtilla spp. by examining the veins in the costal area of the tegmen (sometimes referred to as the lateral field); in Gryllotalpa all the veins are directed apically, whereas in Neocurtilla the distalmost veins are directed backwards, towards the wing base.

Remarks
Genus name must be from neo = new, plus curtilla. The latter appears to be a place name and/or a family name from Spanish-speaking countries.
