Landry (2016) synonymized Sisyracera contortilinealis (Hampson, 1895) with S. inabsconsalis (Möschler, 1890) (1).
Sisyracera contortilinealis was first identified in the United States from Florida by Hayden (pers. comm.) based on a 2012 specimen from Monroe Co. (2)
S. inabsconsalis had been reported from Florida by Heppner in 2007 (3).
