Moved from Syrphid Flies.

Male Melanostoma have quadrate abdominal markings like Platycheirus, and can be hard to tell apart from that genus. These two genera can be difficult to tell apart; hopefully someone will take the plunge! Moving them out of Syrphidae to clarify the ID situation.
