Beetle - Ataenius alternatus

Beetle - Ataenius alternatus
Lady Lake, Lake County, Florida, USA
October 19, 2006
Found on driveway. I am pretty sure this one was 7mm.

Moved from Ataenius.

Ataenius alternatus
best guess from a photo - the name is pretty descriptive, the elytra with 'alternating' high and low intervals or ridges. Nice clear shot.

Thank you
very much for all the help on these.
