Found next to a tidal river in the open near a forested area. Flying during the day. Couldn't get a better angle since they were mating and hard to ID from the ventral side.

It definitely looks like Spotted Thyris. I scoured the Peterson field guide to moths to try to ID this, but seeing the pictures here, the drawing in the guide is a poor representation.
