I have it as a 5639 Cacotherapia unipuncta but there are some questions/doubts, but it is the best I can get with pics I find. Maybe it is something resembling this.

Looks like the same as this o
Looks like the same as this one photographed in Austin, TX.

Edit: Now that I see them on the same page, I see differences. I will upload another picture that looks closer.

Gregory, See Valerie Bugh's comment. I subsequently had one identified by BOLD as C. flexilinealis from Campwood.

Hi Gregory, As a new editor I am trying to clear out the oldest postings in Moths and your #642730 lead me to this discovery. I think there is no doubt that Hodges #5639 Cacotherapia unipuncta is alive and well in Texas! Hope a Real expert sees these moves and gives us an ID. See

Cacotherapia flexilinealis #5642
I just photographed this species in Brownsville and was looking up the ID. I found a match in Knudson & Bordelon's 2008 publication for LRGV micros. There are also a few pinned specimens on BOLD. It looks like there are several live images here so I won't bother adding yet another from TX.
