Unfortunately, the current key to this genus (only 3 species in our area) doesn't seem to be available (Latta, R. and Cole, F.R. 1933. A comparative study of the species of Eumerus known as the lesser bulb flies. Monthly Bulletin of the California Department of Agriculture, 22: 142-152.), so I can't get you any further.
