Tachinidae

Tachinidae
New Orleans , Orleans Parish, Louisiana, USA
December 13, 2013
This Tachinid was caught in a malaise trap in an unpopulated marshland on the outskirts of New Orleans. Unfortunately I am not great at identifying Tachinids further than family level, any help would be much appreciated.

Siphonini?
I was tempted to call this the male and 880696 the female of the same species, but they show differences beyond ordinary sexual variation. Veins Cu and R4+5 are very extensively bristled. This may be Siphonini. A better view of the head would help.

pls crop images tight, i'll then ask our expert to take a look
