I found this spider in my grapes bought from a grocery store. The package said 'California'

Looks to be a harmless Jumping spider
The salticid specialists should be able to tell you which one and whether it is local or from California.

He was guarding your food from other bugs
At least you know they are fresh! I have held jumpers often they are harmless with excellent vision
