As promised here, I went back for a reshoot with different lenses, a tripod, and a pruning shears.

Unfortunately, results weren't much better. I'm guessing that's partially me, partially condition of the specimens.

Tom Henry says,
"I would say these images are of Montandoniola confusa Streito and Matocq, 2009, based on the color of the tibiae. Prior to the Pluot-Sigwalt, Streito and Matocq paper, I would have called this M. moraguesi (Puton)."
