Identification
Third antennal segment more than two-thirds as long as second; frons shorter than wide; vertex large, as long as frons.
Remarks
This subgenus has a single species in our area, Physoconops (Gyroconops) sylvosus. Remarks on the subgenus can be found in Camras (1955) starting on pg. 174.
