Unknown bug in lotion bottle

Unknown bug in lotion bottle
Roseville, Placer County, California, USA
January 11, 2014
Size: about an inch
I found this in my lotion bottle along with little yellow spots around the inside of the lid. It moves forward and backward...I am assuming the black end is the front??? Anyone know what it is?
