Plecoptera, Giant Stonefly - Pteronarcys pictetii - female

Plecoptera, Giant Stonefly - Pteronarcys pictetii - Female
100 Acre Wood, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
June 15, 2013
Size: 48 mm with wings
D. Heimdal says: "The ventral view of the female terminalia has a distinct mesal notch in segment 8, so I would say P. pictetii.

I remember rearing several Pteronarcys nymphs from the Volga River. They had very different abdominal patterns, but all were P. pictetii. I was hoping they would be different species, but no luck.
