Strikingly Patterned Moth - Anania hortulata

Strikingly Patterned Moth - Anania hortulata
Chassell, Houghton County, Michigan, USA
July 14, 2013
This strikingly patterned moth showed up at my porch light at 11:30 p.m. Would anyone know what it is? My yard
is overgrown with Blackberry brambles with Paper and Yellow Birch, Red Maple, White Spruce, White Pine and Poplar
growing around the yard. The location is in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Lake Superior.

Anania hortulata
Moved from ID Request.
