Jumping Spider - Evarcha hoyi

Jumping Spider - Evarcha hoyi
Chassell, Houghton County, Michigan, USA
July 14, 2013
This jumping spider decided to take a ride on my jeans. I was walking a two-track and took
this photo at 2:30 p.m. The two-track has grasses, Queen Anne's Lace, Goldenrod and Tansy
and the soil is sandy. Blackberries grow on each side of the track and there is a second
growth hardwood forest. The location is in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan near
Lake Superior.

Moved
Moved from Jumping Spiders.

Moved for the experts
Moved from ID Request. This suggests a gravid Evarcha hoyi to me. Unless it is an odd Pelegrina.

Thank you Chad.
