Anthocharis midea - female

Anthocharis midea - Female
Middlefield, Middlesex County, Connecticut, USA
May 13, 2011
Sorting through my photos and found this image from 2011. Butterfly photographed nectaring on Arabidopsis lyrata. If this is a Pieris species, does the patterning on the margins of the fore- and hind-wings separate this from the common cabbage white (Pieiris rapae)?

Moved from ID Request.

Anthocaris midea? female

Looks about right!
Thanks, Larry! Anthocharis midea is a much closer match than Pieris. Much appreciated!
