Pseudexentera - Pseudexentera

Pseudexentera - Pseudexentera
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
February 10, 2013
Size: ~7mm length
At outdoor light. This one is a Pseudexentera, I assume, perhaps #3521 spoliana, #3252.1 sepia or #3246 cressoniana, all being on Florida's checklist.

Looks similar
Looks similar to some of the Epinotids (Epinotia) .. but there are numerous species.

Surprise!
Good to know, Dick, that Genus pages are not the graveyard of images as they sometimes seem to be. With these moths I actually may be too fixated on Pseudexentera. Epinotia surely offers alternative possibilities, but as far as I can see, not better ones in this case. Still, perhaps I should move the image to Eucosmini.
