I want to say Canada or Green-striped darner...
Aeshna canadensis or Aeshna verticalis because of the white face without a black stripe, but it's hard to tell the difference without a side shot. I can't distinguish the color of the thoracic stripes or their pattern very well from this photo. A. canadensis usually have bluish lateral thoracic stripes with a distinct notch near the center and A. verticalis usually have greenish stripes with less of a notch. But then again, I'm definitely not an expert on Canadian odonates!

 
Aeshna
It's not A. canadensis whose notched front thoracic tripe would be obvious even from this angle. I can't speak to A verticalis as I've no experience with it.
