Mezium americanum - little doubt
Hi,
I confirm the ID insofar it´s for sure a member of Mezium - but I can´t tell how to seperate the domestic americanum from the imported Mezium affine.
regards, Boris

Spider Beetle
Yes, this is a spider beetle. Could be Mezium americanum based on comments here
,
but I'm not real familiar with this group.

Very Nice
Reminds us of Subfamily Ptininae - Spider Beetles. Images in the guide
here
, but some of the beetle experts here should be able to give you a more definitive ID from these lovely images!
Welcome to BugGuide - what a great first set of images!
