Tearful Underwing ? - Catocala lacrymosa

Tearful Underwing ? - Catocala lacrymosa

Catocala
I suspect this is probably lacrymosa, rather than palaeogama. Although they're nearly indistinguishable by FW appearance alone, the prominent white chevrons along the inner margin along with the region this moth was found (palaeogama is much less common as you move south and west and especially uncommon in OK and TX) has me leaning pretty heavily toward this being lacrymosa. Just my two cents.

Catocala paleogama
I believe.
