Ephemeroptera ID help - Baetisca lacustris - Female

Size: body 5mm "tails" 9+ mm
Emerged in aquarium from aquatic inverts collected in stream pools in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Oliver Ranch unit.

Baetisca lacustris
Hi Bruce-

Congratulations. I believe this female imago to be Baetisca lacustris, a new species for BugGuide.

A new species for Bugguide
Roger - THANKS for the congrats - made my day. Of course, I researched B. lacustris data on line and found the entire genus is rare west of the Great Divide. Baumann and Kodratieff reported what they believe is the first valid B. lacustris in the Western North American Naturalist 60(4). 2000. Pages 459-461 in "A Confirmed Record of the Ephemeroptera Genus Baestica from west of the Continental Divide and an Annotated List of the Mayflies of the Humboldt River, Nevada" where they reported five other species in the taxa. Finding the species in the Spring Mountains of Southern Nevada is another huge range jump, and I'll try to sample for nymphs and more adults to be sure if this is what we have here.
