Epicauta funebris - Margined Blister Beetle? - Epicauta
Long Lips Farm, near Paola, Miami County, Kansas, USA
June 15, 2012
Devouring vegetation in a garden.

Epicauta cinerea or Epicauta funebris --det. J.D. Pinto
Moved from Blister Beetles.

Update
These were devouring Clematis. I read J.D. Pinto communication with V, that E. cinerea is commonly found on Clematis. Not that this might change the ID of this one to cinerea, just thought I would note it. :-)
