mite - Pergamasus

mite - Pergamasus
Swanton, Franklin County, Vermont, USA
November 29, 2006
Size: 1.2mm
Found from sifting the leaf litter.

Moved
Moved from Mesostigmata.

This appears to be a male Pergamasid
Perhaps it should be moved to with the mite feeding on the collembolan?

likely Mesostigmata
Most of the brownish, sclerotized mites belong to the Order
Mesostigmata but it is obviously difficult to distinguish families from photos.
