This micropezid was exhibiting a rather peculiar behavior. It would rush towards the ant here and then abruptly stop and stare at it. Then, as the ant continued to walk about, the micropezid would repeat the abrupt rush & pause. It never came "too close" to the ant, or tried to lunge at it...as if it were prey.
