Brown Widows in Southern California
Just got done cleaning my patio, and in addition to my normal ginormous black widows, I came across several small brownish striped widows with yellow hourglasses. But what I didn't expect, was a ginormous completely tan widow with a red hourglass. She didn't seem to have any spots on her back, was just a tannish-buff color. Her legs were a little darker striated brown.

This is a very good representation of this species, very clear picture and it is strage that it was taken in Fullerton when it is more likely to find this species in Florida.
