Epigynum - Hypsosinga rubens - Female

This is the epigynum of the larger of the two females. Note the embolar scales of the male that are stuck in it (the things that look like fly wings or something). So she has obviously already mated. This epigynum represents one of the variations shown in Dondale et al. 2003(1), and the next image of the smaller female represents the other variation.
