Harlingen Bar-sided Darner - Gynacantha mexicana

Harlingen Bar-sided Darner - Gynacantha mexicana
Harlingen, Cameron County, Texas, USA
November 26, 2006
Quoting Martin's post to TexOdes: "Late Thanksgiving treat. This evening a Bar-sided Darner Gynacantha mexicana decided to take a break hanging from the ceiling of my garage. I got some cool digital close ups. It seems most of these I have seen (about 5 now in that many years) have been inside buildings.

This seems like a late record as the literature I have points to October as the end of their flight season here in the RGV."

Martin mentioned not having a way to post his photos, so I offered to put them here.
