Linyphiid? - Neriene clathrata

Linyphiid? - Neriene clathrata
St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA
May 13, 2013
Size: 4 mm; legspan 10 mm
For some reason I had a container of rotten wood and bark last year. I must have been saving it for millipedes or scorpions or something. I ended up finding some interesting spiders in the process. Probably came from Golden Valley, but were photographed in St. Louis Park before release.

Two things
1) Some of these images seem to have different patterns on the abdomen. Are you sure you they are all of the same specimen?

2) I see Neriene clathrata in the dark zig-zaggy abdomen of most of these images (but not so much in this image).

yes
I had two spiders that I was photographing that afternoon and one was a mature male dwarf spider...it is weird how different the angles make it look. Thanks for asking though...because checking back I realized I had the wrong date. They were actually taken in May.

Neriene clathrata
It's amazing how different a spider can look based on angle and light! I agree with Chad, I think it looks a lot like Neriene clathrata.
