Mandibles
In this subfamily, the mandibles are termed exodont. Searching the web for the term exodont, I immediately encounter a paper by the late William Mason on a new genus of Ichneutinae with exodont mandibles, and I see another paper by Wharton that alludes to a tribe of Opiinae with exodont mandibles.
