I wonder...
if some of BG's A. brightwelli or H. hemipodus are this species. The characters to separate them wouldn't be easily visible in an image.

 
it's possible, but...
...it seems Hume only found a few specimens in collections, so it's definitely not yet a prominent presence in NA, just as H. niger --you never know, of course; both spp. are übercommon in Europe, so much so that nobody cares much to photograph them
