That is one weird critter! I
That is one weird critter! I agree that it looks like some kind of fly (based on eye and antennal morphology)... as complete shot in the dark guesses, perhaps something in Nerioidea? The Papaya Fruit Fly has a similar ovipositor, but otherwise is different... I'll keep looking.
