Size: 18 mm
Keyed to genus using Merritt, Cummins and Berg (2008) as well as "Aquatic Insects of California, with Keys to North American Genera and California Species" (1956) with an account of Odonata by Smith and Pritchard. Probably B. mendax, only recorded species in California.
