Identifying for photo

Hello!
It would like to identify this wasp (?). http://www.plantasdeaquario.com/zoo38.htm
They had said me that velvet is a “Myrmosine ant”. That is correct?
Debtor,
I hug,
Augusta Reinders

Mutillidae.
It is indeed a female velvet ant, family Mutillidae. I am barely familiar with North American genera, but perhaps one of our more knowledgeable experts can at least supply a genus for you.
