Chlaenius pennsylvanicus - male

Chlaenius pennsylvanicus - Male
under driftwood along mud banks of the Snake River , Walla Walla County, Washington, USA
May 15, 2013
Size: about 11mm
Keyed using Bell monograph.

Key traits include antennal segment 3 not elongate, prosternal process distinctly margined, pronotal punctuation regular, proepisternum densely, coarsely punctate.

The image is not very good but I noticed there was not a single species of Chlaenius up from the state of Washington, so in the interest of filling in some geographic gaps I thought I would add a few.
