kitchen ant - Prenolepis imparis

kitchen ant - Prenolepis imparis
Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, USA
February 13, 2013
Size: 4mm
I put down a few drops of sugar-water syrup to encourage them to hold still. We seem to get two kinds of similar-looking (from 6 ft up) ants in the house. Horrible stinky ones, and these, which I tolerate hoping they're keeping the odorous ones at bay.
