Is the face pilose enough for Mallota posticata? The orange hair would suggest Merodon?

The orange hair does remind me of Merodon, but to definitively tell the difference it would be helpful to either get a full facial profile shot and/or a view of the femur from the side to see the difference between these two genera. Tricksy critters!
