Tapinoma sessile? with parasites - Tapinoma sessile

Tapinoma sessile? with parasites - Tapinoma sessile
MontaƱa De Oro State Park, San Luis Obispo County, California, USA
February 23, 2014
Size: ~3mm
Found under rock just above the high tide line. Pretty sure the ants are Tapinoma sessile, but they seem to be infested with some type of parasite. I didn't spot the parasites until I uploaded my photos. Any idea on what the parasites are?

Interesting habitat note. This ant is so adaptable!
I think the riders are phoretic, not parasitic, mites. Maybe it would help to post this with the mites and see if someone will ID them.

Maybe something like these: ?
