Melissodes with orangish thoracic "hair" - Xenoglossodes
Between Clearwater and Haysville, Sedgwick County, Kansas, USA

I think this is another Melissodes, but it looks like a different species than the others with its extra thick, orange, thoracic "hair". It was busily feeding on a Maximilian sunflower bloom.
