May 11, 2013: I collected 2 of these unknown galls on unknown plants (why bother?). Opened the first one in the field and what may have been a spent lep pupal case, blew away in the wind. Quickly.
May 27, 2013: ants in the rearing jar
June 15, 2013: more ants in the jar and a dead wasp (pretty much eaten)
December, 29, 2013: cleaning up, more ants (dead). Further cut open first gall: 1 dead wasp and a wasp(?) cocoon
Cut open 2nd gall: 3 small wasp cocoons and a dead ant
